Det roundede pin shape er "bessefar" til mange surfboard-shapes, og specielt i 70'erne havde shapet sin storhedstid og med et design der var bredere mod nosen end mod tailen. Det er genskabt i retrostil-boardet her, der giver mere plads til frontfoden for laid back front foot-trimming.
